Gameplay-facilitating mod for Creatures 2 - Windows 10 Fix - Game mod. This mod may not necessarily work with your copy of the game.

For unpacking files we recommend using a free software - 7-Zip.

Fixes the problems with running Creatures 2: The Albian Years on Windows 10, like crashing during startup.
Instructions
Unzip the files to your Creatures 2: The Albian Years installation folder (where the creatures2.exe file exists).
Set compatibility options „Reduced Color Mode – 16 bit colors) for each executable in the Creatures 2 folder. See note below.
(Optional) If you are running the GOG version of the game then I recommend starting the game by running the launcher.exe, rather than the start.exe that was implemented by GOG.
Start the game and enjoy!
Note: This must be set for ALL executables in the Creatures 2 folder, including launcher.exe, creatures2.exe, BreedersKit.exe, ChroniclesKit.exe, ... . Some people report that they needed to disable all compatibility settings to get this to work.
